Mother of pearl, also called nacre, is what comes before the pearl is formed. Oysters and other molluscs produce it as a defense mechanism against foreign irritants. Sounds cool, right? Because of its white, porcelain look, some associate it with the moon, believing it to have calming and protective properties. In other traditions, mother-of-pearl is associated with wisdom, creativity, and good fortune.

This men’s bracelet features an oval-shaped mother-of-pearl set in polished surgical-grade stainless steel for maximum protection. Because the stone is natural, the mother-of-pearl will show subtle variations in color in each bracelet.

The black woven rope comes in a classic design that lets the mother-of-pearl take the foreground. The braided lock fastens securely and is easily adjustable for sizing. Simply place one end at the base of your palm and secure it with your middle finger, then pull the loose end as tight as you need. The lock also features a stainless steel plate engraved with the Waykins logo.
