Each Damascus steel men’s ring is unique thanks to its method of manufacture. Two types of steel are repeatedly folded on top of one another and then forged together to form the distinct pattern that runs through the steel. Because of this, no two rings exhibit the same pattern.

This dark and beautiful Tobias ring features deep diagonal grooves on its surface, adding texture and showing how deep the steel’s pattern runs.

Historically, Damascus steel was considered the best steel for swordmaking as its method made it resistant to cracking and allowed it to carry its edge for longer than most steel types of its age.

It’s unlikely that you’ll need a Damascus steel sword by your side any time soon, but now you’re armed with a nice little story about your new ring.
