About the Merovingian Knot

Did you ever see The Matrix Reloaded? The Merovingian (The Frenchman) is a character who took the Ediety Knot from relative obscurity and made it stylish again. This knot is now referred to as the Merovingian Knot or Matrix Knot in honor of that character. Red pill, anyone?

If you don’t want to look as villainous as the knot’s namesake, opt for stripes or lighter colors. We suggest wearing a vest over the Merovingian Knot as the ends of the tie do not line up.

“Have you ever had a dream that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake up from that dream, how would you know the difference between the dream world and the real one?” - Morpheus. Something to think about.
