The hat that I bought is different from the one I bought a year ago. My previous hat was a rain-resistant hat. The material is lighter also the depth of the bucket is deeper by 3 1/2 in vs 3 1/4 if it matters and it does to me because I have a big head. Lol
The new hat material is like a heavy canvas which is ok except for the bucket depth.
Good durable material, easy to shape. Brim wider than other bucket hats.
