This vintage-looking silver-tone men's pendant features the profile of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscription ‘D.G. Regina’, meaning ‘By the Grace of God, Queen’.
The back of the pendant features one side of the iconic St. Benedict medal. The letters C S S M L – N D S M D translate to “may the holy cross be my light – may the dragon never be my overlord.” The encircled C S P B means “The Cross of Holy Father Benedict.” Surrounding these are the letters V R S N S M V - S M Q L I V B, which means “Begone Satan. Never tempt me with your vanities. What you offer me is evil. Drink the poison yourself!” At the top, the word ‘PAX’ stands for “peace.”
The pendant is made of surgical-grade stainless steel, and so is the double curb chain necklace on which it hangs. The double chain means that even if a link breaks, the necklace will not fall. I’ll be caught by the next link in the chain. Its durable lobster clasp and adjustable length give you power over where the pendant falls.
